Thank you for your work in developing a TOWS Matrix and analysis for Parkland’s Health and Hospital System.
I am missing pieces of this discussion because I do not know anything about this organization. Is this a hospital, clinic, or an entire system? For profit or not-for-profit? Where is it located? How many patients are served? How many employees? What can you say about the community?
I have had difficulty reading through your paper. Perhaps you might want to work with the class tutor to help with clarifying the requirements of each assessment. She is quite helpfua strategic organizational plan that provides human and financial resources to support targeted organizational outcomes.

You have said that “financing costs of these platforms should be covered by the federal government through the health bill allocation funds given to each major healthcare facility.” I don’t know of any federal funds given to health care facilities except in payment of services paid for by Medicaid or Medicare or in the case of military hospitals. Non-government funds such as WHO and UNICEF also do not give any funding to US based hospital systems or organizations. Is this system located outside of the US?”

A part of this same paragraph states that “the main goal of the hospital is to promote social welfare by availing affordable, high quality and reliable health services.” What does this mean?”

I cannot tell if this is a general statement or specific to the organization. If this is specific to the organization, please provide some background information. For example, with regard to nurses, what is the turnover rate? When are shortages most noticed? Is this affecting the morale of other employees? The “high prevalence of chronic diseases” doesn’t seem to fit with the strategic planning needs of an organization. Or, is there different or more chronic diseases in the area served by this organization?”
